Philadelphia's mobile galleryfor the people who make the culture.

Fine arts and fashion activations, from block parties to festivals, galas, gallery nights, programming and certifications.

Every activation feeds the incubation and acceleration of people, communities and businesses. Our first, The Preview, brought more than 250 people to The 1910, a space made possible by our partner YD Home, to meet seven Philadelphia visual artists. Now we bring places across the city and beyond to life with partners, neighbors and volunteers.

Philadelphia skyline at golden hour

Help a person discover that they are gold.

Here at the Hub for Humanity, we transform communities through Culture, Innovation, Technology and Youth. We do it through adaptive reuse, activating places across Philadelphia that are ready for new life. Behind every activation is a bigger mission: meeting people where they are with a credential and a safe space to earn while they learn.

C.I.T.Y. Trust · Activating the city

Join the connective tissue.

A city holds together at the places where people meet. C.I.T.Y. Trust is the connective tissue between artists, neighbors, partners and the city. We activate places that are ready for new life through adaptive reuse, and Trust OS is the glue that keeps every person, partner and place connected from one activation to the next.

Volunteer at the next activation. Bring us a place that is ready for new life. Follow us as we go block by block, with the people moving Philadelphia forward.

01 · WHY · THE GOLD SEAM
The gold seamYou are already gold.

You are already gold.

The value is discovered, not installed.

THE SHORT VERSION

Help a person discover that they are gold.

Then give them a pathway to monetize it. C.I.T.Y. Trust Hub for Humanity Legacy Center is a Philadelphia federation of credible organizations sharing one calendar and one credential spine.

Why

Every person is already gold. The value is discovered, not installed. Culture is a mindset backed by economics. Capitalism is an instrument; played consciously, it elevates.

How

Culture first. Credentials that travel. Ownership last, and always. Under one principle: every hour pays twice, once as pay and once as an asset.

What

Five vocational facets with credentialed partners, and activations that bring places across the city to life.

01 · WHY · THE PROBLEM WE ACTUALLY SOLVE

Philadelphia doesn't have a shortage of programs. It has a shortage of connective tissue.

We know that South Philly is the heart and soul of the city, and we're the connective tissue.

A young person finishes a six-week camp and lands back in the same gap it pulled them from. A returning adult finishes training with a certificate and no next door to walk through. The C.I.T.Y. TRUST CENTER is the connective tissue: a bell-to-bell house where every hour is accounted for, every skill becomes a named credential, and every credential is connected to the person, employer, or contract that pays for it.

TRACK A · THE CYCLE THAT KEEPS RETURNINGTRACK B · THE CONNECTIVE TISSUE

Most programs end. This one connects.

A six-week camp returns a young person to the same gap it pulled them from — and a gap doesn't hold anyone. A ladder does.

02 · HOW · THE MODEL IN THREE MOVES

A person eats, learns, trains, earns, and owns — under one roof.

IMPORTEDRESOURCED FROM WITHIN
01

Culture first

We don't import culture into a neighborhood — we resource the one that built it. Engaging education through the arts, by way of the entertainment industry.

Credentials that travel

A credential that only counts inside our building is a hobby. Five vocational facets, each ending in something an employer, a licensing board or a paying client already recognizes on sight.

03

Ownership last, and always

From a notepad to a patent. Participants leave with portfolios, publishing, domains, and equity in what they helped build — not just a certificate of completion.

Go fast alone. Go far together.

02 · HOW · THE DUAL-YIELD PRINCIPLE

Every hour pays twice.

Once as pay. Money in your pocket the same day you earn it.
Once as an asset. A credential, a portfolio, a business of your own: something that keeps paying after the hour ends.

Same six hours. One track keeps them.

Track A pays and returns to the same line every Friday. Track B pays the same wage and stacks the second yield underneath it — from a notepad to a patent.

You get paid today — and you keep something that pays you tomorrow.

03 · WHAT · THE RECORD

The work is already documented.

Figures reflect I.C.A.R.E. Academy, Inc. programming, including I.C.A.R.E. to Vote, which has registered first-time voters since 2015.

  1. A PERSON
